Name your very own Partula snail at London Zoo, one of the most endangered species on the planet. For centuries, Partula tree snails have been part of Polynesia’s rich cultural heritage. In the late 20th Century, due to a series of invasive animal introductions, only a handful of the 120 species of Partula snail have survived and many more would have been lost if not for the rescue efforts of ZSL. For 30 years rescue animals have been safeguarded at London and Whipsnade Zoos, and to date we have reintroduced over 15,000 snails back into the wild.
